Global law firm Baker McKenzie has added three leading practitioners to its North America Employment & Compensation Practice, as the Firm continues to enhance its employment litigation capabilities in the US. Blair Robinson, Paul Evans and Jeff Sturgeon have joined in New York, offering deep expertise in high-stakes, cutting-edge labor and employment disputes.
Blair represents employers in a broad range of labor and employment matters in jurisdictions throughout the US. He has defended numerous companies in the pharmaceutical, financial services, and entertainment industries in nationwide employment discrimination class actions, wage and hour class and collective actions, and multi-plaintiff litigation matters. Blair also counsels companies on a wide range of issues, including global pay equity reviews and diversity initiatives.
For over 20 years, Paul has represented employers at the US state, federal, and appellate level in employment discrimination class actions, wage and hour class and collective actions, multi-plaintiff and complex litigation, as well defending challenges to pre-employment selection procedures such as employer testing and background check programs. Paul also helps employers navigate high-level employee policies and oversight, including diversity programs, pay equity practices, workforce change matters and a host of similar issues.
Jeff litigates employment, whistle-blower, benefits, securities, and commercial and fiduciary liability issues in state and federal courts throughout the US. Jeff’s significant trial experience spans more than fifteen years and includes multi-plaintiff and class litigation. Jeff has served as lead counsel for clients in dozens of cases that were tried to verdict before juries and other tribunals.

Blair received his BA from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and his JD from Syracuse University College of Law.
