Baker McKenzie announces the arrival of three new professionals in the Tax Practice Group: Nicola Boella as local partner, Valeria Gioffrè as counsel and Stefano Corbara as senior associate.
Nicola Boella is a lawyer who specializes in tax litigation and who has extensive experience in proceedings before the tax courts and the Supreme Court, as well as in settling tax disputes before starting tax litigation procedures and negotiating out-of-court settlements. He assists clients during tax audits and the pre-litigation stages. Before joining Baker McKenzie, Nicola was a partner at Gianni Origoni Grippo Cappelli & Partners.
Valeria Gioffrè is a lawyer experienced in tax litigation relevant to direct and indirect taxes, including international tax issues, pre-litigation procedures, definitions of tax assessments and providing assistance to taxpayers during tax audits. She also has considerable experience in proceedings before the tax courts and the Supreme Court. Valeria comes from Gianni Origoni Grippo Cappelli & Partners.
Stefano Corbara is a chartered accountant who specializes in national and international tax law, with particular reference to issues of financial, real estate and extraordinary transactions. He focuses his activities on tax litigation and out-of-court settlement procedures for tax disputes, with particular focus on the real estate sector. Before joining Baker McKenzie, Stefano was an associate at Chiomenti.
Following the new entries, the tax team of Baker McKenzie now consists of 40 professionals in the Milan and Rome offices.
