The Kyiv office of Baker McKenzie, in cooperation with Attorneys' Association Gestors, assisted ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih during the course of an anti-dumping investigation into the imports of carbon and other alloy steel rods originating in the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Moldova.
The scope of work included assistance with preparing and submitting a complaint to the Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine (Ministry of Economy) to launch the anti-dumping investigation; completing and submitting a questionnaire and comments to the Ministry of Economy in the course of the anti-dumping investigation, representing the client during public hearings and negotiations; and providing legal assistance during the verification procedures.
