Prague office senior associate Marek Disman has been appointed the new head of the Real Estate practice in Prague as of October 2019, to continue to serve our clients and further develop our real estate & construction law related service offering in the Czech Republic.
Marek has been with Baker McKenzie for more than seven years, so far as a senior associate in the Banking & Finance group, leading real estate financing transactions. Before joining Baker McKenzie he worked for a regional law firm, where he advised clients in the areas of real estate and construction law.
Marek has significant experience in various aspects of real estate law and real estate financing and advises clients on complex real estate matters as well as on due diligence investigations. His practice also involves advising on legal aspects of commercial leases, sale and lease back transactions and real estate and acquisition financing.
Marek is a 2010 graduate of the Law Faculty of Charles University, Czech Republic, where he received a Master's degree and J.D. degree in 2012. He also received a Master's degree from the Faculty of Physical Education of Charles University, Czech Republic.
