Following the results of the independent researcher Legal 500 Rankings, Baker McKenzie maintained its position as Latin America’s top law firm. The Firm earned 98 practice rankings, surpassing all other law firms in the region, including other global firms. Additionally, lawyers at Baker McKenzie received 102 individual rankings for their legal counsel in this year’s edition.

As has happened in previous rankings, Legal 500 recognized Baker McKenzie’s Corporate and M&A, Dispute Resolution; Energy and Natural Resources; Intellectual Property; Labor and Employment; Public Law**; Real Estate; Tax and Technology, Media and Telecom** practices in each country where the Firm operates in the region (Argentina, Brazil*, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and Venezuela), as well as on a pan-regional level for International Arbitration; Banking and Finance; Corporate and M&A; and Projects and Energy.
Baker McKenzie’s lawyers earned 102 individual rankings, a significant increase compared to the previous year (102 vs 93 rankings). This year, 25 lawyers at Baker McKenzie received new individual rankings.
Baker McKenzie also recently received exceptionally high marks across the region from independent legal directory Chambers & Partners, placing the Firm as the leading global law firm in Latin America.
