Baker McKenzie appointed the pharmaceutical and healthcare law expert Milena Hoffmanová as a partner on 1 July 2019. The team of partners of the Prague Office of Baker McKenzie now has seven members, Milena Hoffmanová being the first woman on the current partners’ team.
Milena Hoffmanová heads the Prague office Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare group. She specializes in legislation governing these areas, as well as compliance, general commercial law, and personal data protection. Her practice of eleven plus years makes her one of the leading Czech law experts in pharmaceutical and healthcare law. During her years with Baker McKenzie, this law firm has become one of the leaders in the Czech market in these areas.

Milena studied law at the University of Limerick, Ireland and is a 2008 graduate of the Law Faculty of Charles University in Prague. She regularly consults with industry associations on their legislative initiatives as to Pharmaceuticals law and Healthcare law, and is the only external expert member of the Appellate Committee of the Association of the Innovative Pharmaceutical Industry.
Milena regularly speaks at various events on compliance topics related to compliance in pharmaceutical industry and is the author of the chapter related to compliance in pharmaceutical industry in the first publication on compliance matters on the Czech market, the Compliance Handbook.
