Baker McKenzie has advised the arranger and dealers on the establishment of a EUR 5 billion Euro Commercial Paper Programme by Bankia S.A, signed on 11 July 2019. The arranger for this programme was Barclays Bank PLC and the dealer group comprised Barclays Bank Ireland PLC, Barclays Bank PLC, Bankia, S.A., BNP Paribas, Crédite Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited, Goldman Sachs International, HPC, S.A., ING Bank N.V., Société Générale and UBS Europe SE.
Bankia is one of the leading financial institutions providing banking and financial products and services in Spain. Baker McKenzie recently acted on Bankia's update of its €10,000,000,000 Euro Medium Term Note Programme in May 2019.
