Baker McKenzie announced that Nadia Goreslavskaya and Marina Tokunova have been promoted to become partners in Moscow, and Alexander Korobeinikov — in the Firm's Almaty office.
The promotions further strengthen the Firm’s position in the region and span a range of multijurisdictional practices — antitrust, dispute resolution and tax.
"I would like to congratulate Nadia, Marina and Alexander and wish them new successes in expanding our practice in Russia and Kazakhstan. Their promotions highlight their strong commitment to our clients and excellent technical expertise," said Sergei Voitishkin, CIS Managing Partner.
"Congratulations to Alexander! He has shown excellence and strong commitment to our work and I am confident that his promotion will contribute to the growth of our disputes practice in the region," said Azamat Kuatbekov, managing partner of the Almaty office.
Globally, Baker McKenzie has elected 81 new partners, bringing the total number of partners in the Firm to 1550. Over 400 of these are women ‒ the most of any law firm.
