Baker McKenzie has appointed a total of two new partners in Germany and one partner in Austria effective July 1, 2019.

"The new partners in our region strengthen our team in the areas of IT and antitrust law. Particularly the areas of information technology, innovation and industry 4.0, where we are experiencing sustained strong demand from our clients, we are further expanding our IT legal practice with these appointments. Baker McKenzie has appointed 81 new partners worldwide, bringing the total number of partners in the firm to 1,550. In the past year, the firm also recorded 34 lateral partner additions in strategically important practice groups.
