We are pleased to announce that the following persons have joined the  M&A/Corporate team at Baker McKenzie Krzyzowski i Wspólnicy law firm: Magdalena Nasiłowska together with the team consisting of: Piotr Szczeciński (senior associate), Mateusz Baszczyk, Jur.D. (associate), Agnieszka Kania (associate) and Jakub Żebrowski (paralegal).

Magdalena Nasiłowska, who has assumed the position of partner, is a legal advisor and has over 10-year experience. She focuses on mergers and acquisitions. She has extensive experience in coordinating international transactions and global reorganisations of capital groups. She also advises on joint venture projects in the field of corporate governance and commercial contracts. Her clients are Private Equity funds, private and public companies, including international corporations mainly operating in the manufacturing sector.

Piotr Szczeciński focuses on handling merger and acquisition transactions, including private equity transactions. He advises on domestic and cross-border share deals and asset deals, investment agreements and shareholders’ agreements. He also advises clients in the defence sector participating in tenders for awarding defence contracts organized by the Ministry of National Defence of the Republic of Poland, as well as on all aspects related to the offset. He passed the bar exam in 2019.

Mateusz Baszczyk, is a Doctor of Laws (Jagiellonian University) and a legal advisor, and focuses on mergers and acquisitions. He has been successfully involved in complex domestic and international transactions, including the largest M & A transactions in Poland. He also advises on global reorganisations of capital groups, ongoing corporate matters and on drafting and negotiating commercial contracts. Mateusz is the author of many scientific publications on commercial law.
Agnieszka Kania focuses on corporate law and global reorganisations of capital groups. She also supports Polish and foreign entities at the stage of starting their operations in Poland and provides ongoing legal assistance to companies, including advice on their liquidation and sale of shares and assets. Agnieszka has experience in conducting due diligence and in reviewing commercial contracts. She passed the bar exam in 2019.

Jakub Żebrowski focuses on corporate law and handling merger and acquisition transactions. He provides support for domestic and international transactions of sale of shares and assets, as well as advises on mergers and is involved in ongoing corporate maintenance for companies operating in various sectors of the economy. Jakub also participates in global reorganisations of capital groups.
