These accolades follow another recognition that the China Business Law Journal recently bestowed upon the Firm for its involvement in Nanjing Cenbest's acquisition of Dendreon Pharmaceutical, which was named "Deal of the Year 2018".

Commenting on the wins, Milton Cheng, managing partner of Baker McKenzie's Hong Kong office, and also chair of a committee that oversees Baker McKenzie's offices and member firms in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Korea and Vietnam, said: "We are extremely pleased to see that our efforts in building a strong China platform that provides PRC and international law advice seamlessly are being recognized. This is a collective effort of the 150 lawyers from both firms, who draw on their international experience, local know-how and strong relationships with businesses and local authorities in China and other parts of the world, and who deliver value-added service to our clients."

"We would like to thank China Business Law Journal for this recognition, our clients for entrusting in us their most complex deals and matters, and our lawyers for their dedication and hard work. We will continue to grow our Joint Operation platform and its service offerings to meet our clients' evolving business needs," Yingzhe Wang, managing partner of FenXun Partners, added.

China Business Law Journal’s China Business Law Awards are based on hundreds of nominations received from China-focused corporate counsel and legal professionals around the world. The winners were selected based on a combination of factors, including each firm’s landmark deals, cases and other notable achievements over the past 12 months.
