Baker McKenzie advised client, Corview Group, on the AUD$32 million sale of its business and assets to the UK listed RPS group.
Corview is a leading provider of strategic advice for major infrastructure projects with offices in Brisbane and Sydney. Its services range from strategy and planning, economics, investment and finance advice, through to transaction management and commercial and project delivery.
Founded in 1970, RPS is a leading global professional services firm of 1,100 planning, design, environmental, project management and advisory specialists. Located in 125 countries, the company designs and manages projects that create shared value to a complex, urbanising and resource-scarce world.
Baker McKenzie's head of M&A in Australia and lead partner on the transaction, Richard Lustig stated: "This deal will result in a new RPS advisory team aimed at tackling one of Australia’s biggest challenges – infrastructure complexity. We were delighted to act for our client, Corview."
The sale will allow the group to offer a broader range of consultancy services to its clients, drawing on RPS’s global presence and expertise. In return, RPS and its current clients will expand on Corview’s strong position and experience in the booming infrastructure market.
