Baker McKenzie has announced the appointment of three new of Counsels: Anna Marina De Vivo and Antonio Lattanzio in the Corporate M&A Practice group, and Andrea Mezzetti in the Technology, Media & Telecommunications Practice group.
Anna Marina De Vivo has experience in national and multijurisdictional transactions, including in the acquisition of companies and reorganizations of multinational groups, the latter mainly through mergers, de-mergers and transfer of businesses. Among her most recent experience, Anna Marina assisted Gi Group in relation to the acquisition of Grafton Recruitment, assisted Caterpillar Group in relation to the acquisition of ECM S.p.A. and assisted Tennant in relation to the acquisition of IPC Group.
Antonio Lattanzio has extensive experience in cross-border corporate reorganizations and restructuring transactions (including merger, de-merger, asset deals, and share deals) with a focus on regulated sectors such as pharma, telecommunications and transportation sectors. Recently, Antonio assisted Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane in the acquisition, through its subsidiary Busitalia, of QBuzz (a Dutch public transport provider), assisted Abbott in relation to its latest global acquisition and reorganization projects and assisted Shire and Baxalta groups in connection to their corporate integration.
Andrea Mezzetti focuses his professional activity in the Information Technology & Communications area, advising domestic and international clients on issues pertaining to electronic communications and telecommunications, with particular reference to the regulatory aspects of new technologies and the drafting and negotiation of sector specific agreements. Recently Andrea assisted Sky in relation to the agreement with Open Fiber for the launch of a fiber service.
