Nicolas Barbret has joined Baker McKenzie’s Employment & Compensation Practice in Paris as Counsel, where he will supervise and direct employment litigation activity.
Olivier Vasset, head of the Employment & Compensation Practice in Paris, is delighted with his arrival: “Thanks to Nicolas Barbret’s expertise and experience in employment litigation, the Firm’s labour law services will be extended”.
A specialist in labour and social security laws, Nicolas will assist the Firm’s French and international clients with their individual and collective labour law and social security law litigation.
Before joining Baker McKenzie, Nicolas Barbret jointly founded the Firm, Balzac Avocats, whose labour law activity he directed for eight years. He also previously worked at Andersen Legal (2000-2002), Clifford Chance Europe (2002-2008) and Dechert LLP (2008-2010).
Nicolas Barbret has been a lawyer since 1998 and registered at the Paris bar since 2002. He has a post-graduate diploma in private law from the University of Montpellier where he also worked as a labour law lecturer.
