Global law firm Baker McKenzie has been named one of Stonewall's 2018 Top Global Employers; the definitive list showcasing the best multinational employers for lesbian, gay, bi and trans people.

The Firm has been ranked for the third consecutive year and is one of 13 elite organizations to make it on to the list.

Through our Global LGBT+ Business Resource Group, engaged Senior LGBT+ Champions and a growing network of in-country LGBT+ and Ally Chapters, we are making strides in creating an inclusive environment for all, where everyone feels free to be who they are, wherever they are.”

In addition to the Top Global Employer ranking, Baker McKenzie was also named Top Global LGBT+ Network of the Year. It unites local and regional chapters and provides support at a global level so our people can continue to find ways to flourish, and individuals can reach their full potential.”

Over the past year, Baker McKenzie's Global LGBT+ Business Resource Group has launched a dedicated LGBT+ client program to promote further engagement with clients on LGBT+ inclusion and has partnered with their procurement teams to ensure that their  LGBT+ commitments are shared with suppliers through existing guidelines.

Global Diversity & Inclusion Chair, Constanze Ulmer-Eilfort, commented: "It's wonderful to receive recognition from Stonewall for our LGBT+ efforts across our Global Firm. Creating an inclusive culture at Baker McKenzie is something we feel very strongly about and we are proud to advocate for our LGBT+ communities and allies."

Stonewall’s Top Global Employers list celebrates the pioneering efforts of leading organizations to create inclusive workplaces and advance equality for LGBT+ people wherever they are in the world. It’s compiled from submissions to the Global Workplace Equality Index (GWEI): a powerful benchmarking tool used by employers to create inclusive workplaces across the international markets in which they operate.
