I am taking over from Arnaud Cabanes, who succeeded in accelerating the firm’s growth during his last two successive terms of office and in taking structural transformation measures to adapt our practices to changes in law profession and in the legal market. I will devote all my experience and energy to pursuing these objectives and to the development of Baker McKenzie in Paris, continuing our vision of excellence centred around our clients and our teams”, declared Eric Lasry.
Arnaud Cabanes, the firm’s Managing Partner from 2014 to 2018, is delighted with the appointment. “The election of Eric is excellent news for the development of Baker McKenzie in Paris and internationally. His leadership qualities and his extensive experience with the firm make Eric an excellent Managing Partner to carry forward the actions initiated previously. In addition, his international profile will further facilitate the coordination between our different offices.
