Baker McKenzie, the leading global law firm, is delighted to announce that Ilnort Rueda has been appointed Chief Services Officer.

Ilnort joins the Firm from A.T. Kearney where he has been since 2000 in the Financial Institutions practice based in Zurich, Sao Paulo and New York, acting the last six years as a partner. Previous to that he was an investment advisor at UBS. He was educated in Germany and Switzerland and holds a MSc from the University of St Gallen. He will take up his new role today  and will be primarily based in New York.

In his new role Ilnort will be responsible for defining and leading the implementation of new services, business models, and revenue sources, and will oversee the continued development of the Firm's Global Practice Group strategies and services. Along with Erik Scheer our EMEA Chair he will co-lead on the Firm's overall Innovation Initiative and will work with the Innovation Committee to develop and implement a broad program of activities to ensure that Baker McKenzie adapts faster and more successfully than other firms to changes in the legal industry and leads the market in providing world class solutions to client challenges.
