Baker McKenzie associate Chetan Gupta earned a Future of Privacy Forum’s Privacy Papers for Policymakers Award.
Chetan’s paper on “The Market’s Law Of Privacy: Case Studies in Privacy/Security Adoption” was recognized in the inaugural Student category, as it was published while he was a student at the University of California at Berkeley.
The PPPM Awards annually recognize leading privacy scholarship relevant to policymakers in the US Congress, at US federal agencies, and for data protection authorities abroad.
Invited by the Forum, Chetan presented his paper and discussed his work at the United States Senate with policymakers, academics, and privacy professionals during the 8th Annual Privacy Papers for Policymakers event in Washington, DC, on February 27.
