Yann Padova appointed “Country Leader” for France by the IAPP
The International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) announced today the appointment of Yann Padova, partner at Baker McKenzie, as “Country Leader” for France. This announcement is made in conjunction with the Data Protection Congress, the association’s annual event which is held in Brussels and recognized as “an absolute must” in the field of data protection.
The IAPP is the largest organisation of data protection professionals at world level. Created in 2000, its mission is to unite globally and promote privacy professionals. Before this, he had worked for Baker McKenzie in Paris as Senior Counsel in the Information Technologies and Communications team (2012-2015). For 6 years, he was Secretary General of the CNIL, the French data protection authority (2006-2012). Admitted to the Paris bar in 2013, Yann Padova is a graduate of Sciences Po Paris and the University of Paris IV Sorbonne.
