For the eighth consecutive year, Baker McKenzie has received a perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation 2018 Corporate Equality Index, earning the distinction as a "Best Place to Work" in the US for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) equality.

The Corporate Equality Index evaluates US companies on their corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ employees. Baker McKenzie received a perfect score for all the rating criteria measured in the survey — non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs and public engagement with the LGBTQ community.

Over the past year, Baker McKenzie was named one of the Best Law Firms for Women by Working Mother Magazine and ranked among the top 10 most LGBTQ-friendly employers in the UK on Stonewall's Workplace Equality Index, a national benchmark showcasing Britain’s top employers for LGBTQ staff. In June, the Firm joined many of its clients in implementing comprehensive policy to address the needs of transgender, gender non-conforming and non-binary gender identity employees.
