Baker McKenzie has appointed Robert H. Moore (“Bobby”) the Managing Partner of the Firm’s Miami office, following a 13-year career with the Firm.
Bobby is a partner in the Tax practice, focusing on international tax planning for multinationals, global reorganizations and M&A. He also works on supply chain management, and tax planning for foreign investment in the US real estate market. He has significant experience representing professional athletes, sports agents, and athletic apparel companies in all aspects of international tax planning and tax controversy.

The Litigation Group in Miami office of Baker McKenzie was recently named Litigation Group of the Year for international mid-size firms by the Daily Business Review. In recent years the office has also expanded its Banking and Finance practice, and it continues to enjoy a strong reputation for its Wealth Management and Corporate Tax practices.
An active member in the Miami community, Bobby was Chair of the office’s Pro Bono Committee from 2010-2015, earning multiple recognitions for his pro bono work including child advocacy, homeless youth, and juvenile immigrant initiatives. Bobby also sat on the Firm’s North America Diversity and Inclusion committee for a number of years and is highly respected as a champion for diversity within the Firm.
Bobby is a member of the North America Tax Practice Group’s (“NATPG’s”) Tax Planning and Transactions Steering Committee, the editorial board of the NATPG’s Tax News and Developments bi-monthly newsletter, and the Best Practices Committee. Bobby has published numerous articles and speaks regularly at international tax conferences around the world.
