Yapı Kredi's secures Multicurrency & Dual Tranche Syndicated Term Loan Facilities
Baker McKenzie's Paris and Frankfurt offices, together with Esin Attorney Partnership, the Turkish member firm of Baker McKenzie International, advised the lenders in relation USD306,000,000 and EUR956,500,000 Dual Currency Term Loan Facilities provided to Yapı ve Kredi Bankası A.Ş. as Borrower. Mizuho Bank, Ltd. acted as agent, Standard Chartered Bank acted as Documentation Agent, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and Standard Chartered Bank acted as joint coordinators. The lenders included 48 international banks from 19 countries, acting as mandated lead arrangers, lead arrangers and arrangers*.
Highlighting the high number of participating lenders and the successful completion, Paris-based partner Michael Foundethakis stated: "The high interest of so many participating banks in this transaction clearly shows the continued confidence of international investors in the Turkish banking sector."
