Baker McKenzie has signed a lease on a new space for its Dallas office at 1900 N. Pearl St., a development currently being constructed in the city's Arts District. The Firm plans to relocate its professional staff and team of 65 lawyers from its current offices at Trammell Crow Center, 2001 Ross Ave., in 2017.

"We just celebrated 30 years in Dallas, and we are committed to helping clients navigate their global matters during these constantly evolving, turbulent times," said Mike Santa Maria, Managing Partner of Baker McKenzie's Dallas office. "The office at 1900 Pearl will give us a more efficient use of space for interactions among our terrific attorneys and our great clients, and it will allow us to continue our strategic focus on recruiting and retention of highly talented people."

The Firm will occupy more than 50,000 square feet at 1900 Pearl, managed by Lincoln Property Co. and owned by Goldman Sachs & Co. The firm will receive prominent signage on the Pearl Street side of the new tower.

"We have had a terrific run at Trammell Crow Center," Mr. Santa Maria said. "We will leave with nothing but fond memories and great things to say about Ramsey March and his team at Stream Realty, and the property owner, JPMorganChase."

Added Amit Amin, North American Director of Office Operations and Texas COO, "At Baker McKenzie, we are focused on the strategic growth of our various full-service teams, and the new layout gives us a lot of flexibility and options for future growth. We are excited to be a part of this new development."

Leading architectural firm Gensler has been selected to design the Firm's new interior. Plans include creating more collaborative workspaces and designing modern, single-sized offices for attorneys.
