Baker & McKenzie has been named one of the top law firms for women by Working Mother magazine and the Flex-Time Lawyers organization, the sixth consecutive year the Firm has been recognized on the magazine's prestigious list. The firm was also honored in 2007 and 2008.
Published in the August/September issue of Working Mother magazine, the annual recognition honors 50 law firms that "lead the industry in initiatives for women’s business development and career advancement, plus offer flexible work arrangements and generous paid parental leave, among other important benefits."

The Firm has more than 1,500 partners worldwide, and more than 400 are women, the most of any law firm. In June, the Firm announced 85 new partner promotions, of which 40 percent were women.
The Best Law Firms for Women recognition follows similar recognitions Baker & McKenzie has received for its diverse workforce and inclusive work environment. For example, Law360 recently named Baker & McKenzie one of the 10 best law firms for women, noting that 40 percent of the Firm's partners are women.
In addition, Latin Lawyer magazine honored Claudia Prado, Chairman of Baker & McKenzie's Latin America region and the Firm's Global Diversity & Inclusion Committee, with the Diversity Initiative of the Year Award for her efforts and commitment to furthering the advancement of women in the region's legal profession. In addition, EuroMoney European Women in Business Law awarded the Firm Most Innovative International Firm for Women Award in June.
