Baker & McKenzie partner Susan Eandi was selected by The San Francisco and Los Angeles Daily Journal as one of the state's top labor and employment lawyers. The editors of The Daily Journal considered hundreds of lawyers for this annual list, which was published on July 20 2016. The list honors 75 lawyers who "were involved in cutting-edge employment and labor cases."
Ms. Eandi was selected for her work advising multinational companies on cross-border employment matters, including representation of Hewlett-Packard on the international employment law aspects of its separation into Hewlett-Packard Enterprises and Hewlett-Packard Inc.
According to the Editor of the Daily Journal, the selected lawyers "are brilliant, strategic and, most of all, agile, as they navigate a fast-moving and ever-changing legal landscape."
In the article, Ms. Eandi points out a number of current trends she's seeing in the market, including:
- corporate separations of iconic brands in the effort to unlock shareholder value
- international expansion
- a focus on core business in markets with proven value
- pay equity
Ms. Eandi is an employment partner in Baker & McKenzie's Palo Alto office where she chairs the Firm's Global Employment and Labor Law sub-practice group for North America and co-chairs the California Compensation and Employment Law Practice Group.
In addition to this prestigious recognition, Ms. Eandi has been repeatedly recognized by Super Lawyers, Legal 500 and Chambers. The Daily Journal has previously acknowledged her among the state's top women lawyers and lawyers under the age of 40.
