Latin Lawyer has recognized Baker McKenzie’s female lawyers throughout the magazine's annual "Women in Law" special issue, which is dedicated to finding inspiration in legal markets and looks at the role of law firm leaders within Latin America.
Esther Flesch, Liliana Espinosa and María Eugenia Reyes were recognized as the most inspiring and “talented lawyers and leaders" who are also “role models for younger lawyers who find encouragement in their achievements.” Based on a survey of subscribers Baker McKenzie is the only firm to have three partners recognized.
Alongside this, Baker McKenzie’s Anna Mello and Simone Musa - through cooperation agreement with Trench, Rossi e Watanabe - were also featured, noting that they now form the Brazil Executive Committee, further strengthening Baker McKenzie’s diversity within its leadership.
Having has a successful career on the international stage Baker McKenzie’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee Chair Claudia F. Prado shared her views on gender diversity with Latin Lawyer, highlighting how important it is for women have good role models. She commented: “I believe these women have a responsibility to lead by example and share stories of their route to the top.”
