ING Bank Turkey refinances syndicated loan worth $138.8m
A team of lawyers from Esin Attorney Partnership, a member firm of Baker & McKenzie International, a Swiss Verein advised ING Group's Turkish subsidiary on a syndicated loan obtained for general trade finance purposes.
Remarking on the matter, partner Muhsin Keskin commented:"The Firm has been advising on the refinancing of ING Bank's syndication since 2014, and we are very pleased to have worked with them again."
The Firm advised ING Bank A.Ş. (ING Bank Turkey) on a $101,078,522.51 and €358,130,422.38 dual currency term loan agreement between ING Bank A.Ş. and a syndicate of 26 major banks. Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., London Branch, Bank of America Merrill Lynch International Limited, Barclays Bank PLC, Citibank N.A. London Branch, Goldman Sachs International, J.P. Morgan Limited, Mizuho Bank, Ltd., Standard Chartered Bank and The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd. were the Mandated Lead Arrangers involved. A further 17 banks committed to the deal at various levels, which was signed and closed on June 21.
The legal team was led by Banking & Finance partner Muhsin Keskin with support from Associate Mustafa Özkan Özdoğan.
