Antidumping duties for the imports of dicloxacillin sodium originating in India.

On 12 July 2017 the Ministry of Economy published in the Official Federal Gazette the Final Resolution of the antidumping investigation regarding the importation of dicloxacillin sodium originating in India.

Through this resolution, it was determined to extend for 5 more years the antidumping duty of 64.9% on the definitive and temporary importations of dicloxacillin sodium originating in India, classified under tariff code 2941.10.08 of the Mexican Harmonized Tariff Schedule ("TIGIE").

Antidumping duties for the imports of hexagonal mesh originating in the China.

On 3 July 2018, the Ministry of Economy published in the Official Federal Gazette the Final Resolution of the validity test of the antidumping duty imposed to imports of hexagonal mesh originating in China.

The hexagonal mesh is imported into Mexico under tariff codes 7314.19.99, 7314.31.01, 7314.41.01,7314.1903 and 7314.49.99 of the TIGIE.

The mentioned resolution comes from sunset investigation requested by the domestic producer Deacero, S.A.P.I. de C.V., who stated that the imposed duty the last 5 years of 2.80 to 0.45 USD dollars per kilogram was not sufficient to balance the damage caused to the domestic market.

After the analysis made, the Ministry of Economy determined to impose a definitive antidumping duty 2.80 USD dollars per kilogram for the next 5 years.

Beginning of the sunset review of the antidumping duty imposed to the importations of welded links originating in China.

On 16 July 2018, the Resolution declaring the beginning of sunset review of the antidumping duty imposed to the imports of welded link steel chains originating in China was published in the Federal Official Gazette.

Domestic producers Deacero, S.A.P.I. of C.V. and Industrial de Alambres, S.A. of C.V. requested the beginning of the sunset review of the antidumping duty of 0.72 per kilogram imposed on imports of welded link steel chains originating in China.

The antidumping is applicable to definitive and temporary imports of welded link steel chains classified under HTS 7315.82.02, including the imports under Rule 8th of the Supplementary Rules of the TIGIE.

The investigation period will be from 1 April 2017 to 31 March 2018, while the period of analysis will be from 1 April 2013 to 31 March 2018.

The antidumping duty will continue in force during the sunset review.
