Webinar: New Swiss Regulation on Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT)
Date & Time
With the introduction of the DLT regulation, Swiss law provides for new rules with regard to the creation and transfer of crypto-based assets. Under the DLT regulation, rights and claims can now be transferred directly on the blockchain once they are recorded as so-called registered securities (i.e., tokens with certain properties). While the new rules on registered securities entered into force just recently, the entry into force of the new regime regarding DLT trading systems is expected in August 2021.
In this webinar, we show you how rights and claims can be issued and made tradable on the blockchain. We explain what steps you have to take to create a real asset token and how such asset token can be transferred in a decentralized manner or via a DLT trading system. Further, we explain how crypto-based assets are treated from a banking and bankruptcy law perspective.
Zoom platform will be used for this webinar. Login instructions will be provided to all registered participants closer to the event. This webinar is free to attend.
