Baker McKenzie is co-sponsoring the Ukraine Conference on IT Law, which brings together hundreds of foreign and Ukrainian experts, participants from leading companies active in the IT sphere, lawyers practicing and interested in the development of the IT sector in Ukraine, as well as representatives of profile associations from around the globe. Expect dynamic discussions on the legal challenges of new technologies, fintech, cybersecurity and IP among the digital age, among others, from 200 speakers.

Sebastian Schwiddessen and Oleksiy Stolyarenko are attending this year’s conference as speakers and moderators.

Oleksiy will moderate a section on privacy versus business tackling Mobile Payment App (WeChat) and its compliance with GDPR, a review of GDPR compliance in Germany and the Turkish approach to data protection and its challenges for foreign companies. Sebastian will speak on "Monitoring of private chats in video games and other apps to prevent cybergrooming and other crimes."
