We are proud to host a reception together with our partner the Global Center on Cooperative Security on Wednesday 25 September 2019, from 6.30pm to 9.30pm, on the margins of United Nations General Assembly. The reception is a mainstay for global policy and thought leaders on counter-terrorism and preventing violent extremism. Attendees will include over 100 senior officials across governments and the United Nations, as well as international thought leaders and grassroots change makers.

As an independent, nonprofit organization, the Global Center works towards a more secure and just world free from violent extremism and terrorism. We have worked closely with the Global Center, the United Nations, and distinguished judges from South Asia in formulating the "South Asia Regional Toolkit for Judges: Supporting the Development of National Bench Books for the Effective Adjudication of Terrorism Cases."

We are deeply committed to our pro bono mission to leverage our international legal expertise in support of the rule of law around the world to foster an environment that encourages and promotes service, independently, and in partnership with our clients, to contribute to the well-being of the communities in which we practice and live.

If you are interested in attending the reception, please contact Robert Lewis at Baker McKenzie.
