Baker McKenzie’s tax practice group has combined its annual Transfer Pricing and Tax Planning and Transactions seminars to provide clients with an opportunity to discuss their most critical tax questions at a single event.

This all-day seminar, which will be held on Thursday, 25 July, in Boston, will provide an overview of relevant changes in tax law, including

  • implementation of the BEPS Project
  • reforms to taxation of the digital economy
  • the TCJA
  • FDII rules
  • new foreign tax credit limitation rules

Plenary sessions will cover tax planning in the midst of global reform, including supply chain, foreign tax credit, and ETR planning, as well as Congress’ current tax policy goals and their potential effects.

Attendees who are interested in having a more informal conversation with a smaller group can join select tables during lunch to discuss the key topics affecting their business.

The seminar will conclude with a panel of Baker McKenzie lawyers and corporate representatives who will discuss the major challenges their tax departments face, including tax modelling, audits, and the impact of tax reform.
