How can we improve access to healthcare? What impact could digital technology have on the future of healthcare? Who should pay for innovation?

Join us on 1 November as we talk about the future of healthcare with key players in the life sciences and healthcare sector, including NGOs, industry players, the Dutch government, successful investors and healthcare providers. The event will take place at B. Amsterdam, Europe's biggest start-up hub.

Philips' Chief Innovation & Strategy Officer Jeroen Tas will kick off with an inspiring keynote speech on the impact of digital technology on healthcare, to be followed by a panel session on innovation and access to healthcare. Ingmar de Gooijer of MyTomorrows (and regular moderator of MedTech Europe events) will lead a panel of life sciences players through a lively discussion with room for interaction with the audience. After the seminar there will be opportunity to network with cocktails and canapés.

There will also be an exclusive workshop for biotech, health-tech and medtech start-ups, scale-ups and investors - this will be held before the plenary. Topics on the agenda include how to attract investors and how to prepare your company for a sale (trade sale versus IPO or multiple track). This will be followed by a panel discussion consisting of a successfully listed bio-tech company, a founder of a start-up and a VC investor. All workshop participants are welcome to attend the main program which will start immediately after this.
