Global Tax Reform: Impact and Response

Date & Time

Baker McKenzie's EMEA Tax Planning and Transactions Conference Global Tax Reform: Impact and Response will be taking place in London on 11 October 2018.

As the impact of U.S. tax reform begins to be felt, and with the prospect of guidance on some of the new rules possibly being released by Treasury in August or September, our European and U.S. tax practitioners will share their latest insights into what these seismic changes mean for multinationals and funds in the EMEA region. We will also be discussing the likely future shape of European tax planning, taking account of ATAD, mandatory disclosure of cross border tax arrangements, some other BEPS related initiatives and the increasingly aggressive nature of tax disputes across the region. Our practitioners will guide you through those new rules and how they interact together using some concrete examples.

We will also be hosting break-out discussions on the latest tax trends in the real estate sector, and on the tax and legal aspects of initial coin offerings ("ICOs") which are becoming an increasingly popular fundraising mechanic.

Please save the date while we finalise the programme for this conference.
