The California offices of Baker McKenzie seek an associate attorney with two to four years of experience for the Cross-Border Transactions & Integrations team in the Transactional practice group. The candidate will be responsible for assisting clients with the planning and implementation of complex, multi-jurisdictional transactions, such as global carve outs, spinoffs, post-merger integrations and pre-transaction restructurings, entity rationalization projects, global expansion projects, and related international corporate matters relating to clients’ non-US operations. Ideally, the candidate should have experience working on multijurisdictional transactions and experience coordinating with local counsel, whether international or domestic. They will also have general corporate and M&A experience. Foreign legal training or experience working outside the U.S. for another major law firm is a plus. The candidate should have superior academic credentials from a top ranked law school and excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical and writing skills. Qualified candidates will have the ability to function smoothly in a global team environment with culturally diverse team members.
