In our Securities Practice, we represent issuers and investment banks in a wide variety of capital markets transactions, including IPOs, follow-on public offerings, cross-border listings, private placements, debt, equity and equity-linked issues, corporate governance matters, and the securities law aspects of complex, multi-jurisdictional acquisitions and divestitures involving public companies. Our Mergers and Acquisitions group collaborates across borders and legal areas, we bring the right know-how and experience to anticipate and resolve issues in all involved jurisdictions, offering a one-stop shop for all deal and transaction related services. Our clients and their transactions touch every major global industry including technology, financial services, manufacturing & engineering, oil & gas, consumer products, media, healthcare and many others. The Houston office of Baker & McKenzie LLP seeks an associate attorney with four to six years of experience for the Corporate and Securities Practice Group. The ideal candidates will have strong academic credentials and excellent communication, analytical and writing skills. They will also have significant securities law experience, including on offerings and periodic and Exchange Act reporting matters. Significant M&A experience would be a plus. Must be admitted and a member in good standing of the Texas bar to apply or eligible to sit for the Texas bar.
