The California and Chicago offices of Baker & McKenzie LLP seek an associate attorney for its Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits practice. The ideal candidate will have one to five years experience in advising private and public companies on executive compensation and employee benefits arrangements, including equity and cash-based incentive compensation programs and change in control and severance arrangements, and advising on compensation and benefits issues in corporate transactions. Candidates with corporate and tax backgrounds who have an interest in practicing in the executive compensation area are also encouraged to apply. Strong academic credentials and excellent communication, analytical, and writing skills are required. Major law firm experience is a plus. We will consider entry level candidates from top law schools with a GPA of 3.7 (or equivalent) or higher. Must be admitted and a member in good standing of the California or Illinois Bar to apply.
