Baker McKenzie’s Zürich office is part of a global law firm that offers a wide range of expertise and legal solutions customized to our international clients’ needs. We are seeking an experienced legal Assistant to support our US Tax and Wealth Management team.

Your main responsibilities :

  • Scheduling and updating appointments (Outlook), meetings and conference calls
  • Organizing Seminars and other events
  • Providing general administrative support such as filing, scanning and archiving documents as well as drafting and reviewing documents
  • Supporting Partners and Associates with their expense reports and time entries for billing
  • Proofreading of correspondence and other documents
  • Processing client intake procedure including client conflicts check
  • Interfacing with clients internal staff and external contacts both, by e-mail and telephone, internal staff and external
  • Handling certain personal appointments of attorneys

Experience & qualification required

  • Relevant education – e.g. a commercial apprenticeship with further education or bachelor's degree
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience as an assistant
  • Fluency in English and advanced German language skills
  • Attention to details, accuracy, efficiency and flexibility
  • Take responsibility for tasks, being proactive and taking initiatives
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in an international, multicultural team
