Job description

As an associate, you will work extensively with your colleagues in competition law. The duties in competition law consist primarily of assisting clients with acquisition control and other transaction-related advice and assisting with investigations at competition authorities.

You will work together with senior associates and partners as well as close to the clients, and at an early stage you will have the opportunity to take ownership of your own matters and manage client relationships. Many of our assignments involve cross-border work, which means that you will work alongside members of the Firm's offices overseas on a daily basis.
Among our clients are various leading Swedish and international companies.

What we can offer you

You will be part of an international organization where activities are focused toward each practice group regardless of country or office. We invest heavily in our development programs, both in the area of personal development and career advancement. You would be placed in Stockholm or Brussels.

Who are you?

We are looking for a lawyer with a good academic record and around one to three years' experience working in the field of competition law. Previous experience of working at the Swedish Competition Authority, the European Commission or working with competition law at another law firm would be considered an advantage. It is also advantageous if you have further specialized in competition law during your studies.

You enjoy working in a fast-paced and international environment and want to stay and grow within the Firm. You are capable of seeing the bigger picture and work in a solution-oriented manner. You thrive in a team environment and possess excellent teamwork and social skills. You are also analytical, careful and structured. You find it stimulating to work on a wide range of projects simultaneously and are used to working independently to meet deadlines. Like us, you value hard work and humility.

As most of your work will be done in English, you must be able to communicate fluently in both English and Swedish and you need a Swedish law degree.
