Baker McKenzie LLP seeks an Immigration Paralegal to be based in our Washington, DC office to provide support to attorneys in the Regional Global Immigration and Mobility group in the preparation and management/administration of immigration filings for corporate clients. The position responsibilities include the preparation of timely and accurate non-immigrant submissions such as H-1B, TN, L-1A, L-1B, O and other relevant applications; and the compilation of data for preparation of employment-based, immigrant-related filings, including PERM. Additionally, the Immigration Paralegal will investigate, compile and digest facts of the case including arranging for outside interpreter if necessary; locate, obtain and preserve client documentation; review and organize client documentation; and analyze and summarize all data.
The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years working in US and/or Global Business Immigration field, with law firm experience preferred. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written are required as well as strong knowledge of MS Office applications. Immigration database software experience preferred. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
