The Sponsorship and Client Programs Specialist will enable the Firm’s global brand and to support its positioning as the world’s leading law firm brand; ensure the Firm is associated with organisations/initiatives that are aligned with our ambitions, brand profile and strategic priorities; maximise the benefits of global sponsorships and memberships for our Firm; lead and promote sponsorships and memberships internally; and support development of bespoke client programmes that can be adapted and implemented across multiple offices.


  • Help to develop and manage Firm's strategic sponsorships, memberships and events series, including leading the firm's partnership with organisations including the Economist Group
  • Develop end-to-end sponsorship and events strategies for key initiatives and campaigns
  • Work with colleagues in the function to roll out thought leadership events programmes and create promotional opportunities via external channels.
  • Conduct value assessment of event proposals and partnership packages.
  • Develop sponsorship activation plans.
  • Work with colleagues to determine objectives, set KPIs and execute plans for major sponsorships and client programmes that will maximise ROI.
  • Conduct post-event debrief and consolidate feedback, incorporate insight into future planning processes.
  • Create and maintain a central database of vendor engagements globally, identify areas of synergy and propose alignment plans.
  • Monitor sponsorship activity of key competitors and provide input on sponsorship strategy
  • Identify and implement standardised processes for the evaluation, negotiation, execution and measurement of regional and local sponsorships and events.
  • Provide advice and support for BDMC colleagues who are working with external organisations on major initiatives.

Skills and Experience:

  • Relevant undergraduate degree
  • Strong experience in a marketing and BD environment
  • Experience in events/partnership management, including ideation, execution and feedback analysis to understand ROI
  • Experience project managing large event series
  • Resourceful and able to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines
  • Comfortable working as part of a global team across many time zones
  • Ability to multitask and work well under tight deadlines in a busy environment, responding to requests and project briefs
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Experience of working in B2B professional services is an advantage
