Description

  • Responsible for the overall talent acquisition for Hong Kong / China offices (lawyers up to Partners level, Business Professional and graduate recruitment). Focus is 70% Hong Kong / China and 30% designated offices in Asia.
  • Aligns recruitment practice across designated offices in Asia in particular engagement of executive search firms.
  • Develops and implements recruitment strategy in both digital and non-digital channels.
  • Partners with hiring manger to drive identification of legal and business professional talents.
  • Builds talent pool and candidate pipelines through market mapping, networking and working with external vendors.
  • Mentors and coaches direct reports and Talent team members to develop their HR competencies and capabilities.

 

Experience Required

  • University graduate with law degree or MBA preferred.
  • Not less than 10 years’ experience in human resources and talent management with a least 3 years in sourcing capacity for Asia legal services or professional services organisations.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese).
  • Experience and considerable knowledge in digital recruitment and best practice recruitment methods.
  • Strong communications skills with the ability to inspire candidates and stakeholders.
  • Skilled at assessing candidate capabilities and cultural fit to meet Firm’s needs.
  • Effective influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Highly developed interview skills, sharp discernment and ability to execute good judgement.
  • Excellent time and project management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of the legal sourcing industry in Asia preferably HK and China.
  • Good understanding of Applicant Tracking Systems (Success Factors or similar cloud based tracking system).
  • Extensive knowledge of psychometric tools used for selections.
  • Proficiency in MS office tools.
