Sally Carr is an associate in the Dispute Resolution and Litigation team at Baker & McKenzie, Sydney. Sally is currently rotating through the Firm and has worked in the Technology, Communications & Commercial and Employment & Industrial Relations groups. She is actively involved in pro bono work, assisting the Cancer Patients Legal Service and Homeless Person's Legal Service, and working as a mentor in the Firm's Reach Out And Read! program. Prior to joining the Firm in 2010, Sally worked at a top tier accounting firm in their research and development tax group. She has also previously worked as a paralegal in insurance and workers compensation at a regional law firm in Newcastle, New South Wales.
Practice Focus
Sally practices in dispute resolution with a focus on contractual, trade practices and employment-related disputes. She has assisted with major federal court proceedings in relation to the copyright subsisting in online sports broadcasts as well as with a number of Supreme Court proceedings in relation to claims of professional negligence, breach of contract and misleading and deceptive conduct.
