Christian O’Connell is a member of the Firm’s Corporate & Securities Practice Group, and has extensive experience in international corporate law and cross-border transactions. Mr. O'Connell is also a member of the Firm's French Initiative, which provides special counsel to French companies doing business in the US and Canada, as well as to North American companies doing business in France. Prior to joining Baker & McKenzie's Washington, DC office, he practiced in the Paris office of another international firm.
Practice Focus
Mr. O’Connell regularly advises US, European, Asian and African companies in a wide range of international business, financing and capital markets transactions. These include corporate mergers and acquisitions, infrastructure and project financings, joint ventures and strategic alliances, and commercial distribution arrangements.
