Baker & McKenzie Represents Fresenius Medical Care in Divestiture of Dialysis Clinics

New York, USA, 2 April 2012 – Baker & McKenzie LLP has advised Fresenius Medical Care AG & Co. KGaA, the world’s largest provider of dialysis products and services, and its subsidiary, Fresenius Medical Care North America, in the divestiture of 54 dialysis clinics to DSI Renal. The clinics were divested following Fresenius Medical Care’s acquisition of Liberty Dialysis Holdings, Inc., pursuant to a consent decree by the United States Federal Trade Commission.

Baker & McKenzie represented Fresenius in the acquisition of Liberty Dialysis Holdings, Inc. and the subsequent divestitures to DSI Renal.  The Firm’s team was led by New York corporate Partner Alan F.
