The majority of our associates at the Firm’s Zurich office start their careers as law clerks (
Substitutinnen und Substituten) in an internship of approx. 12 months, preparing for the Swiss bar exam. Exceptionally, law students are granted internships of 4-6 weeks prior to passing their law school final exams.
Internship for law clerks (Substitutinnen und Substituten) (12 months)
We are always looking for talented law school graduates who are willing to gain insight in a leading global law firm while completing their mandatory internship for bar exam preparation. Law school graduates having a magna or summa cum laude law degree from a Swiss University and feeling attracted to an international and competitive working atmosphere are encouraged to submit their application including a letter of introduction and a resume to our hiring partners below.
Internships for law students (4 to 6 weeks)
The Zurich office offers dedicated law students pursuing a law degree at a Swiss university the opportunity to actively participate in an exciting range of legal matters at our Firm. Through immersion into our practice, law students are introduced into the daily life of our law firm and offered the opportunity to work alongside various lawyers on a wide range of projects. During their internship, law students can furthermore participate in our practice group meetings and social events. Internships for law students usually last for 4 – 6 weeks and can be commenced any time. The candidates should at least have finished their bachelor studies at the beginning of their internship with excellent grades (magna/summa cum laude) and be proficient in German and English.
Candidates can apply even before they have obtained their bachelor degree; typically, candidates apply about twelve months before they start their internship.
