The Computer-Related Crimes Act 2007 established an integrated and cohesive approach to responding to cyber-criminal activity. To help the authorities with their computer crime investigations, service providers (including corporate users) are now required to store and retain specific types of user traffic data as potential evidence of illegal conduct. Failure to comply may result in fines of up to Baht 500,000 (approximately USD14,286). For further information, please contact Dhiraphol Suwanprateep or Pattarakorn Tangkaravakun.
