On 9 July 2012, the Office of the President released Executive Order No. 79 entitled “Institutionalizing and Implementing Reforms in the Philippine Mining Sector, Providing Policies and Guidelines to Ensure Environmental Protection and Responsible Mining in the Utilization of Mineral Resources” (EO).

The EO provided general policies, which are subject to Implementing Rules and Regulations (“EO IRR”) to be released within 60 days from the effectivity of the EO.

The project components consist of classroom buildings, toilets, and classroom furniture.
