Baker & McKenzie Named one of America’s Best Corporate Law Firms

Chicago, USA, May 24, 2012 – Corporate Board Member magazine and global business advisory firm FTI Consulting, Inc. recently named Baker & McKenzie one of the top 25 corporate law firms, based on a comprehensive survey of US corporate directors and general counsel.
In the magazine’s 12th annual “America’s Best Corporate Law Firms” study, the Firm was ranked #7 among firms US corporate directors “would most likely retain.” General counsel ranked Baker & McKenzie at #11 among the top firms in the survey.
Baker & McKenzie has been named by directors and corporate counsel as one of the top 25 law firms every year since the inception of the Corporate Board Member survey.
“This year, we welcome back some familiar names and congratulate all the organizations selected as a top corporate law firm by directors and their general counsel,” said TK Kerstetter, President of Corporate Board Member, in a statement. “These firms have established themselves as industry leaders, many of them year after year, by their exceptional contribution to the corporate community.”
The magazine developed its rankings by sending questionnaires to 11,340 directors and 1,957 general counsel of publicly traded companies. Survey respondents were asked to select firms “they would most likely turn to for corporate legal matters of national scope.” The magazine compiled its list of the top 25 law firms based on the number of votes received. The survey results were published in the magazine’s Second Quarter 2012 issue.
