Alvaro Correa Ordóñez leads the Firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group in Bogota. He is an intellectual property lecturer in different universities in Bogotá, Colombia, and was a professor in graduate programs in the Universidad del Rosario and Universidad Católica. Mr. Correa Ordóñez has been a member of the firm Baker & McKenzie in Bogotá, Colombia since 1976 and was admitted as international partner in 1987. He is a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA) and the Inter-American Association of Industrial Property (IAIP).
Practice Focus
Mr. Correa Ordóñez is actively involved in all IP matters. His practice includes the planning, execution and direction of intellectual property protection strategies, as well as infringements and unfair competition matters. Mr. Correa Ordóñez likewise assists clients in the registration and licensing of intellectual property in Colombia.
